Anna Taratiel (Barcelona, 1982)
Her work evokes internal landscapes and presents metaphorical reflections on her surroundings, expressed through geometrical abstraction, provoking emotions and heightening the viewer’s perception through the intense relationship, compositional, conceptual and technical, that she maintains with space and colour. Mental cartographies that take on material life to fight, from visual equivocation, with the ideas of structure, pattern and variation, or with the border between the two and three-dimensional.
Anna first made contact with the art world through graffiti with the artistic name of OVNI. She studied graphic design at the Vapor University in Terrassa and has a diploma in mural techniques from the Llotja de Barcelona.
